Cowork Arcetec

Cybersecurity with Microsoft: prevent, detect and respond automatically.

Arcetec is a Microsoft Partner and implements Microsoft security end to end: multicloud posture with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, detection and response with Microsoft Sentinel and automated playbooks, and identity and access governed with Microsoft Entra ID. The goal is for prevention, detection and response to stop depending on someone watching a screen: security operations live in a single portal, playbooks are generated in natural language, and response is orchestrated automatically with a trail of every action — isolating, revoking and notifying happen in the moment, and the analysis is left for the morning. The first reference is the company itself: Arcetec's corporate panel is protected with Entra ID and a second factor implemented by the same team that offers the service. Defender and Sentinel are turned on over the tenant the company already has, with no additional platforms; Arcetec's job is to harden the posture, deploy detection with custom playbooks, prevent intrusions and leave orchestrated response in place, along with the identity and access lifecycle. Engagements start with a conversation and a scoped assessment, with fixed scope and price, and the pilot is measured in weeks. We operate from Cajicá, Cundinamarca.

Cybersecurity with Microsoft: what you'll find.

What this pillar covers, stated up front.

Defender and Sentinel: unified SecOps, out of the box.

What Microsoft's security platform already includes; we turn it on over your tenant.

Cybersecurity services: what Arcetec does.

The platform brings the controls. Turning them on in the right order, writing the playbooks for your scenarios and leaving the response in place is the work.

We sell what we use

Practical information

What people ask before writing to us, answered ahead of time.

Frequently asked questions about cybersecurity.

What is the difference between Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel?
Defender for Cloud measures and hardens the security posture of what runs in Azure and other clouds. Microsoft Sentinel is the SIEM: it gathers signals from across the operation, detects incidents and runs automated responses with playbooks.
Who responds if there's an incident in the middle of the night?
Sentinel carries out the first response with automated playbooks —isolating the device, revoking the session, notifying the person in charge— and a trail of every action is kept.
Do we have to change what we already have?
No. It is turned on over the Microsoft tenant you already have. Part of what's needed already comes with some Microsoft 365 plans, such as Business Premium and E5, which include Defender and Intune.
What is Entra ID conditional access?
They are rules that decide who gets in, from where and with which device: second factor, blocking of risky locations and access that is cut off when the relationship with the company ends.

Who responds if something happens at two in the morning?

If the answer is “someone will see it the next day,” that's the conversation to have. With orchestrated response, isolating, revoking and notifying happen in the moment — and the analysis is left for the morning.
