Cowork Arcetec

CataAI: a team of AI developers that takes your cases all the way to production.

CataAI is the platform of ARCETEC SOLUCIONES TECNOLÓGICAS SAS where five AI developers handle development and support cases: Catalina Jiménez (frontend and automation), Omar Gutiérrez (backend), Julián Vargas (data and dashboards), Natalia García (user experience) and Andrés Ospina (AI and infrastructure). Each one has their own Microsoft 365 mailbox, their own Microsoft Teams bot, their own Claude Code session and the skills of their specialty. A case arrives by email to casos@arcetec.com.co with the subject “CU-#### Aprobado:”, through soporte@arcetec.com.co if it comes from a client, or in a conversation with an agent in Teams. The agents review it as a team, build a plan with stories and tasks that is published in Azure Boards, and each developer works on it with Claude Code on their own PC. A single AI developer, the case manager, writes to the requester from start to finish. Sensitive plans, visual reviews and releases to production are decided by a person, the Manager. Clients can only write from authorized contacts and receive answers based on their own company's documentation in SharePoint, never another client's. CataAI runs on Azure, on Arcetec's infrastructure, with server-side Microsoft Entra ID sign-in, secrets encrypted with AES-256-GCM, business hours that follow Colombian public holidays, and a log of every email and every chat.

CataAI is Arcetec's platform where five AI developers receive cases by email and through Microsoft Teams, review them as a team, build the plan in Azure Boards and follow each case until it is in production and validated. Important decisions are always made by a person.

Conversación de ejemplo con Omar Gutiérrez, el agente de CataAI, dentro de Microsoft Teams: responde con la información de la empresa y ofrece escalar el caso cuando no la tiene.

Five specialists and a single point of contact.

Each AI developer has their own Microsoft 365 account, their own Teams bot, their own Claude Code session and the skills of their specialty. They review every case from their own angle and split the work like a team of people. Only one, the case manager, talks to the person who requested it.

From email to production, with a person behind every decision.

  1. Step 01 · The case arrives — By email with the subject CU-#### Aprobado:, through soporte@ or in a conversation with an agent in Teams.
  2. Step 02 · Team review — Each agent reviews it from their specialty. Any questions reach you together, in a single email.
  3. Step 03 · Plan and approval — Stories, tasks and dependencies validated. Andrés approves it or, if it is sensitive, the Manager does.
  4. Step 04 · Development — The plan is published in Azure Boards and each developer works on it with Claude Code on their PC.
  5. Step 05 · Production and closing — The Manager confirms the release to production, you have days to validate it and the case is closed.

Everything the team needs to work with agents.

Email, Teams, planning, development and tracking in a single system, connected to Microsoft 365 and Azure DevOps.

How CataAI works with your company

Your team writes as usual, by email or through Teams. Here is what your company provides and what Arcetec provides.

Your company registers its authorized contacts with Arcetec: only they can write to soporte@arcetec.com.co, and an unknown sender gets no reply. Each company has an assigned AI developer and a person responsible at Arcetec. The agent answers with your company's documentation in SharePoint, never with another client's. If there is a failure in one of your projects, it opens a case that waits for a lead's approval before work starts, and the case manager keeps you informed at every stage. While your company is getting started, answers stay as drafts and a person reviews them before they are sent. And at any time someone on the team can take over the conversation: the agent steps aside until it is handed back.

The agents work with scoped permissions, on Arcetec's accounts and documents, and every decision is recorded.

Our first client was us

Arcetec's team sends its cases to casos@ and its clients write to soporte@. The same five AI developers handle both.

At Arcetec every requirement comes in as a case: an email to casos@ with the subject “CU-#### Aprobado:”, or a Teams conversation that the agent turns into a case. From then on the case has an owner, a status and a timeline that the team follows in the console. The case manager is the only one who writes to the requester: acknowledges the case, gathers the team's questions into a single email and sends an update at every stage. The others review it from their specialty, build the plan in Azure Boards and develop it with Claude Code. Clients write to soporte@. Their assigned agent answers them, using only that client's documentation in SharePoint, and if there is a failure it opens a case that waits for a lead's approval. Anyone on the team can take over the conversation, and the agent steps aside until it is handed back.

Agents that work like the team, not like a chatbot.

Six design decisions so that a case moves forward without anyone having to chase it, and without AI deciding for people.

Questions we get before the first case is sent.

What a technology manager and their team usually want to know before trusting a case to an agent.

What exactly is an AI developer?
It is an agent with its own identity inside Arcetec's Microsoft 365: it has its own mailbox, its own Teams bot, its own Claude Code session and the skills of its specialty. There are five: Catalina Jiménez (frontend and automation), Omar Gutiérrez (backend), Julián Vargas (data and dashboards), Natalia García (user experience) and Andrés Ospina (AI and infrastructure). They review cases from their own angle, split the tasks and review each other's work, like a team of people. Only one, the case manager, writes to the requester.
Which AI model do they use?
Claude. Each AI developer works with their own Arcetec Claude account, whose token is stored encrypted and can only be changed by a super administrator. In Teams, simple questions are answered with a fast model, and anything that requires reviewing code, documents or a case is handled by an analysis model; both are chosen in the console. Teams assistants that are not AI developers support other providers and are configured one by one.
Does the AI decide on its own or deploy to production without permission?
No. The agents review, plan and develop, but decisions are made by people. A plan can be approved by Andrés, the agent who consolidates the reviews, unless it is sensitive: if it was flagged as such, if Andrés wrote it himself, if it has destructive tasks or if it has more than twelve tasks, only the Manager can approve it. Visual changes are always approved by the Manager, and he confirms the release to production in the console and merges it in Azure DevOps. After that, the requester has days to validate the change before the case is closed.
Where does it run and where is the data stored?
CataAI runs on Azure, on Arcetec's infrastructure, with its own PostgreSQL database. Emails are read from the agents' Microsoft 365 mailboxes and SharePoint documents are queried live, without copying them. Tokens, keys and PATs are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Whatever an agent analyzes is processed with Claude through that agent's account, and an email that contains a credential is not stored.
How is a case submitted?
Arcetec's team writes to casos@arcetec.com.co with the subject CU-#### Aprobado: followed by the title, with the details in the body or in a Markdown, Word or PDF attachment of up to 20 MB. A case can also be described in Teams to any of the agents, who proposes it in a card so it can be registered. Only each project's authorized requesters can submit cases, and if the requester is not a project lead, the case waits for a lead's approval before work starts.
How does an Arcetec client get in touch?
To soporte@arcetec.com.co, from an email address registered as an authorized contact of your company. The agent assigned to your company answers, using only your company's documentation in SharePoint. If it is a question, the answer stays as a draft until a person reviews it, unless it has been decided that, for your company, answers go out on their own when the reviewer is confident. If it is a failure, a case is opened. Unknown senders get no reply, and at any time a person on the team can take over the conversation.
What happens if an agent doesn't know something or makes a mistake?
A reviewer reads every answer before it goes out to anyone outside Arcetec. If the agent isn't certain of the answer, it doesn't make one up: it tells you the matter is being reviewed, and the person responsible receives a request to validate it within a deadline in business hours. The team's corrections, a thumbs-down in Teams or an answer marked as incorrect, become the agent's lessons. And before email goes live, CataAI works in shadow mode: it classifies and drafts without sending.
How much does it cost to work with CataAI?
It depends on what your company needs: the projects we support, the contacts who write to soporte@ and the information sources that need to be connected. We quote it with the numbers from your case after a 30-minute demo, not with market averages.

Two ways to work with us

We work in two ways, and this is one of them. Our own products are operated by Arcetec in its own cloud: you don't manage servers or apply updates, and our team of people and agents takes care of operations. Azure projects work the other way around: they are deployed in the client's subscription, with its own billing and keys. If what you are looking for is your own infrastructure rather than a service, that is the line for you.
