Microsoft 365 Copilot: from license to habit.

Arcetec is a Microsoft Partner and provides ongoing support for adopting Microsoft 365 Copilot and artificial intelligence agents in companies in Colombia and Latin America. Buying the license is the easy part; getting the team to use it every day is the work, and that work is done with concrete use cases by role —sales, operations, finance and human resources—, not with a generic course. Copilot connects to company data in SharePoint and OneLake while respecting each person's permissions: it sees exactly what that person can see, because it inherits Microsoft Entra ID permissions and does not expand them, and tenant data is not used to train public models. When standalone prompts fall short, the next step is agents built in Copilot Studio that run complete processes, governed with Agent 365: each agent with an owner, least-privilege permissions and traceability. The era of agents is already generally available —Frontier Suite brings Copilot and Agent 365 together in the license, and Copilot runs models from OpenAI and Anthropic— and the pilot by role is measured in weeks. Engagements start with a conversation and a scoped assessment, with fixed scope and price. We operate from Cajicá, Cundinamarca.

Buying Copilot is easy. Getting your team to use it every day — with use cases by role and your company's data — is another story. That's the one we work on.

Why it stalls at the license

The four ways Copilot gets bought and not used. If you recognize any of them, this page is for you.

What Arcetec does.

From the announcement email to daily use that sustains itself: four areas of work, in this order.

Questions we get before getting started

Do we need E5 licenses to get started?
No: we start from what you already have and tell you which license truly pays off before you buy more. It's cheaper to discover in the assessment that a role doesn't need Copilot yet than to discover it with fifty unused licenses.
Can Copilot see all of the company's documents?
It sees exactly what each person can see: it inherits Entra ID and SharePoint permissions and doesn't expand them. If someone couldn't open the payroll folder, Copilot won't show it to them either. Part of the work is reviewing those permissions before turning anything on, because Copilot makes visible the disorder that already existed.
How long does adoption take?
The pilot by role is measured in weeks, not months; the habit is built with use cases that save time from the first week. One area, concrete use cases from its work and real people using them — and once that is measured, it rolls out to the next role.
Does our data train public models?
No: tenant data is not used to train the models; it stays under your company's Microsoft 365 agreement, with the same residency and confidentiality commitments that already cover your email and your documents.
