Cowork Arcetec

Microsoft Defender for Cloud: your cloud, monitored and remediated.

Arcetec is a Microsoft Partner and implements Microsoft Defender for Cloud to measure and sustain the security posture of its clients' cloud: Azure, AWS and GCP under one roof, from a single security operations portal. Defender for Cloud is Microsoft's CNAPP platform (posture, workloads and identity in a single piece): it measures configuration and exposure, protects servers, containers and databases, and reviews code in DevOps pipelines before it reaches production. Arcetec's work starts with a posture baseline (knowing how exposed you are, with evidence), continues with hardening prioritized by real exposure (what exposes you most first, not what's easiest) and leaves automated response in place: workflows that close gaps hands-free, with a trail of every action, because prevention can't depend on someone watching a screen. Posture isn't reviewed once a year: it is operated and sustained, and the orchestration never sleeps. Engagements begin with a conversation and a scoped assessment, with fixed scope and price. We operate from Cajicá, Cundinamarca.

Defender for Cloud measures your platform's posture — Azure and, with Azure Arc, the servers still running on your premises — and gaps are remediated with orchestration, not with emails. Prevention that doesn't depend on someone watching a screen.

What it covers

Defender for Cloud is Microsoft's CNAPP platform: four fronts of the same monitoring.

What Arcetec does.

Turning on Defender takes one click. Getting the score up — and keeping it there — is the work.

Coverage, by the numbers

What Defender for Cloud puts on the table from day one.

Questions we get before getting started

Does it only work with Azure?
No: with Azure Arc, servers still running on your premises or in another data center are brought into Defender for Cloud and measured by the same yardstick as those in Azure. Posture comes from a single list, not from one console per environment.
Does it replace antivirus?
They are different layers: Defender for Cloud protects the cloud and its workloads (servers, containers, databases); endpoints have their own Defender. The two talk to each other: the signal from the compromised laptop and the one from the exposed virtual machine end up in the same place.
What happens when it finds a gap?
It is prioritized by real exposure and, where we've set up orchestration, it is fixed automatically and traced. Anything that shouldn't be fixed without human judgment is escalated with context: what it is, what it exposes and what is recommended — not a generic email.
How much does it cost?
It depends on which workloads you protect: you pay per monitored server, container or database, not a flat license. The assessment gives you the exact figure before anything is turned on, so the decision is made with the cost on the table.

Do you know how exposed your cloud is today?

The baseline is measured with evidence, not assumptions: your cloud's real score, what explains it and what would be fixed first.
