Backup and security that someone actually verifies.

Commercial landing page for VPS with backup and security — Instagram campaign.

Managed virtual machines on Azure with Azure Backup, Defender for Servers, and access with no exposed ports. With one difference that matters: restores are tested every quarter, and the evidence is kept on record.

What is committed.

Figures from the service agreement, not from a brochure.

What protects each layer.

Backup, recovery, and security are three different things. It is best not to confuse them.

What we do.

Because the three previous layers have to be operated, not just turned on.

Frequently asked questions.

The ones worth asking before you trust someone with your operations.

What does the managed service include?
Administration of the Azure platform and Windows Server operating systems, seven-day monitoring with automatic ticketing, a formal patching cycle, backup management with quarterly restore testing, measured security posture, and a ten-section monthly report.
What are the response times?
For a critical incident, thirty minutes to respond and four hours to resolve, with seven-day coverage and an hourly progress report. Lower-severity incidents are handled during business hours, also with committed response times.
How do you measure the security of my platform?
With the Secure Score in Microsoft Defender for Cloud, reported month by month with its trend and the remediation status of each finding. It isn't an opinion: it's a curve.
What happens if you detect a security incident in the middle of the night?
Sentinel runs playbooks that act on their own: revoking the session, forcing multifactor authentication, or isolating the device, without waiting for someone to wake up. The case then enters the same support flow with its committed times.
How often is the backup tested to confirm it works?
Every quarter, with evidence: what was restored, where, how long it took, and what failed. A backup that no one has restored is not a backup, it's a hypothesis.
Who is responsible for my database?
The database engine and the application layer remain the responsibility of the customer's team. We are responsible for the platform and the operating system, with technical support on the engine included at no additional cost. The split is written down component by component before we start.

When was the last time anyone restored one of your backups?

If the answer isn't a date, it's worth checking before you need it.
